A world of anime

What is anime?

It produces or is influenced by the Japanese animation style known as anime. It is a phrase meaning cartoon or animation used by the Japanese to refer to all cartoons, regardless of country. Outside of Japan, however, the term "anime" refers to Japanese-only animated films that stand out for their vibrant visuals, animated characters, and appealing themes like sci-fi, romance, and supernatural forces. Consequently, think of the following phrase: all anime series are cartoons, but not all cartoons are anime.

Well, not exactly cartoons, I just used it as a reference. But most of the anime freaks will be angry with you if you ever compare anime with cartoons, including myself.

The origin of anime:

Anime has been around for almost a century. Namakura Gatana, the earliest known example, was published in 1917 and only ran for four minutes. It had highs and lows while overcoming challenges on a national and international level.

The Art Of Anime Production:

Strictly speaking, anime is the same as the animation created in Western society. Yet, a lot of time and effort must be spent on it. All forms of story creation—written, storyboarded, workshopped, animated, voiced—are necessary. The length of this laborious process can range from months to years. Even with modern technology that allows artists to create animation with digital tools, anime is still a difficult art form to develop. The hard work of the artists has not been compromised by the use of digital technology, which has pushed the creative limits of how these films can look employing lighting techniques and other strategies. What makes animation so distinctive is the creativity of the creators. The medium makes it possible to subvert genres and tell stories that would be impossible to depict in any other audiovisual storytelling format.

Is anime only for children?

In the US, animated television is primarily advertised and made for kids. Adults generally prefer live-action entertainment to animation, however there are exceptions. Anime characters and series are popular among people in their 40s, 50s, and beyond in Japan, where animated programming is made for viewers of all ages. Although the content is animated, anime can contain adult themes, including everything from serious drama to fantasies.

What makes anime so exciting?

1. Diverse themes and genres:

Anime covers a wide range of genres and themes, including action, adventure, romance, comedy, drama, fantasy, science fiction, horror, and more. This implies that regardless of a viewer's interests, there is probably an anime series or film that they will enjoy. For example, someone who enjoys action and adventure may enjoy anime series like ‘’Demon Slayer’’, “One Piece,” “Dragon Ball Z,” or “Attack on Titan.” Someone who prefers romance and comedy may enjoy series like “Fruits Basket,” “Toradora,” or “Horimiya''. And someone interested in fantasy or science fiction may enjoy series like “Fullmetal Alchemist,” “Death Note,” or “My Hero Academia.” Well among these anime ‘’Demon Slayer’’ is my personal favorite. I started watching anime with this. So, this is an emotion for me.

2. Memorable and complex characters:

Characters in many anime shows are likable and well-developed, allowing viewers to root for and invest in them. The series frequently explores the complicated personalities, motives, and backstories of these characters. This can help viewers develop strong emotional ties with them by making them seem more relatable and lifelike.

3. Visually mind blowing:

The artwork of anime is renowned for being vibrant and visually gorgeous, making it a very engaging medium to watch. The intricate and realistic worlds and characters that anime artists and studios create take a lot of time and effort to create, and the finished artwork may be stunning.

4. Strong emotional connections:

Several anime shows have rich emotional depth and the power to deeply connect with viewers. This can be accomplished by utilizing intricate and well-developed characters, heartfelt and moving plotlines, and powerful music and visuals. For example: My favorite anime “Demon Slayer” tells the story of a sibling that shows how strong their connection is. The story starts with a young boy named Tanjiro whose family was killed by the demons and unfortunately his sister survived and turned into a demon. To execute the demons there is a group who called themself demon slayers. Their job is to slay the demons. Now, Tanjiro became a demon slayer to fight with the demon lord to bring his sister Nazuko back. The ups and downs that they face will blow your mind.

Conclusion:

Well there is tons of info's that I failed to mention here because if I did, it will be too lengthy. So, I've to cut it short. To conclude, anime is beyond description. You will never get board watching it. Many people will say anime is only for children, its has nothing special and it's just a waste of time. Trust me, if someone says these that means he/she hasn't see a single anime or hasn't found a good anime. If you still feel the same then just watch a single episode of a popular anime. You can start with the amines that I mention earlier.
